We caught up with lead stylist Syd Hayes using BaByliss PRO live backstage at Sibling’s SS16 London Fashion Week to show us how he’s styling the models for the runway and the inspiration behind the look. The Sibling SS16 collection inspiration was described as “...channelling the youthful spirit of starlets on the Riviera – Monica Vitti, Silvana Mangano, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin, letting them loose in leopard.”, and the hair had to really compliment the stunning collection AND highlight the women’s diverse range of styles. To create the look, Syd Hayes uses the BaByliss PRO ItaliaBRAVA dryer to blow out the hair, adding brushed through texture. Using the BaByliss PRO Titanium Expression 32mm Curling Tong, front lengths are curled and brushed to add natural movement. ”This is definitely not a party curl - it’s a soft wave - very cool and very easy. Almost as if the model has slept in damp hair the night before then just gets up and goes.”
